This UK-based fitness camp has introduced meditation classes to its colourful schedule to promote mindfulness and stress relief. Over exposure to the stress hormone cortisol has long been recognised as a contributor to health problems and weight gain, and practising mindfulness has proven to control this. Sweating it out in aerobics, step classes and circuits throughout the day is rewarded with delicious (and calorie-controlled) cuisine and workshops on nutrition in the evening. With around 22 guests at a time at either Exmoor or Peak District location the course is perfectly balanced and also offering a three-month online aftercare programme, with recipe and training tips, helps keep up the good work.
