Matlock - Weight Loss Camp Day, 29 September 2015

Today we have covered one of our newer workshops amongst the usual torrent of exercise, it's called the program workshop!! It is based around the idea of you guys taking back control of your routines and lifestyles by getting you to try writing a 15 minute program of exercise, using whatever equipment is available and being able to explain why you have picked those exercises etc, we also involve some other program suggestions and ideas and basically spend the morning putting them to the test, it's great fun and you guys get to work in small groups whilst you come up with the programs.

I know, I know... it sounds a little childish in some ways but it really helps, by this point in the week the group are pretty comfortable in their surroundings and the others on the team, it breaks the exercise up and gives you a chance to play around with the exercises you have enjoyed so far this week. In fact considering it's a new workshop it has gone down really well.

The guys really enjoyed it and Helen was quite impressed by the amount of burpees that were involved, after such an intense first few days the group have really benefitted from some more activity based exercises and daily routines and with the last 2 days of exercise coming up they are ready to give the final push and make sure they get all they can out of the week.
