FitFarms Spain – Weight Loss Camp Day Report – 16 Mar 2015

This special blog post report is what happened in one of our recent Fitfarms fat camp weeks as reported by one of our instructors.

Inspired by the Spanish surroundings, Andy, Dan and myself decide to introduce a new resistance band circuit into the Fitfarms structure. Resistance bands can be a great form of exercise for all ability individuals, they're cheap, easy to use and only need a small space to create an effective workout! The bands can be used for whole body compound exercises or isolation moves to target specific muscles individually. The exercises can be made as simple or complex as you like and work well for short burst of intense exercise periods.

For the ladies this week we chose more complex whole body exercises with the bands, often over loading one side of the body during a circuit round then repeating on the other side the 2nd time round. All ladies responded well to the circuit and nailed even the most complicated exercises with a bit of support from the guys! Anybody looking for a small piece of equipment you can take anywhere that won't break the bank, I would highly recommend getting yourself a few bands!
