| How is FitFarms different from the other companies? |
Most weight loss and fitness camps have 2 key areas to their programme which is nutrition and exercise. Here at FitFarms we have 3 key areas. Nutrition, Exercise and Behavior change. Behavior change is the link that joins the 3 together. If your mind set changes and becomes more positive towards exercise and nutrition you will create long term instead of short term change. | How many people are on the FitFarms course? |
| We run with an average of 20 women depending on how many women choose single or shared rooms. FitFarms has a large health team and because of this our client to staff ratio is as little as 5 to 1. This allows us to carry out 1 to 1 consultations during the week making sure you receive the individual attention that is needed. |
| What type of exercises will I do? |
| Most of our exercises are designed to burn body fat and tone muscle. We deliver a vast range of exercises during the week. FitFarms will find an exercise you really enjoy and then we will build this into your 3 month post course programme. Here is a list of some exercises you can expect, circuit training, boxing, tai chi, step, body combat, salsacise, pace walking, kettlebells, resistance bands and ropes, core strength toning, swimming, aerobics, pilates, hatha yoga, abdominal sessions and cycling are to name but a few. |
| What results will I achieve? |
You will lose weight, tone your body, drop body fat, increase your fitness level and gain a more positive attitude towards food and exercise. Everyone has an individual health and fitness assessment at the beginning and we repeat the same assessments at the end to show you all the improvements you have made over the week. |
| I'm worried that I might be too old or not fit enough to do this course? |
Once you have completed your health and fitness assessment the health team will gauge your fitness level. We can take on nearly all ages, levels of fitness, shapes and sizes. The intensity level will be lowered to suit your fitness standard and you will be monitored by a physiotherapist. Please also see our FitFarms HBMI programme. |
| I'm worried that I might be too young or too fit for your programme? |
Once your fitness level has been gauged you will then work out at the optimum level to burn body fat, tone up and increase fitness levels. You will find yourself working out in a group with a similar fitness level with personal trainers next to you.
