There are 3 key areas which we cover in our workshops which will give you the knowledge and confidence to stay on track post course.
Nutrition
During the week you will take part in nutritional workshops. You will cover a wide variety of areas such as mineral testing, food labeling, healthy menu choices, label reading, thyroid testing, blood sugar control, nutrient rich foods to name but a few.
Julia FitzGerald carries out all the workshops during the week and has joined us from The Daily Telegraph. Julia's 10 minute nutrition reviews for The Daily Telegraph quickly made her one of the most recognised nutritional therapist in the country.
Julia's workshops are interactive, informative and realistic to individual and every day needs. You will leave the workshops having a more positive relationship with food and the knowledge you need to achieve your weight loss and fitness goals.
Exercise
These workshops run throughout the week. We start on a basic level with subjects such as the benefits of exercise and progress to an advanced level where you will learn how to design your own exercise programme using proven personal training techniques. During the week the trainers will sit down with you on a one to one basis to devise a tailor made programme that fits into your lifestyle to take home.
Behavior Change
Often most of us know what we're doing wrong but simply can't discipline ourselves over a long period of time to actually see any real positive change. These sessions are interactive and will help you understand the reasons why eating healthily and exercising regularly has been an obstacle up to now. Understanding the underlying issues will help you stay on track and reach your long term health and fitness goals. |
