Comic Relief:
In 2002, Comic Relief and BBC Sport came together with a new fundraising idea called Sport Relief. The campaign alternates with Red Nose Day and the year 2010 is again the turn of Sports Relief.
In 2008 the final total raised on the television broadcast was £19,640,321 which included one donor donating £5.5 million to Sports Relief.
This amount does not include the money raised by the Sport Relief single "Don't Stop Me Now" by McFly which reached No.1 in the UK charts.
This year FitFarms will be donating 20% of both of the March courses profit to this great fund raising event.
The FitFarms programme will run exactly the same in March. The only difference is that by joining us you will be changing someone else's life as well as yours.
Money raised so far by Sports Relief:
2002: £14 million
2004: £16 million
2006: £18 million
2008: £19.5 million
You can see that it 2008 it didn't go up as much as the other years so please come and join us in March and make a difference.
